What do pastured poultry Eat?
Pastured Poultry is raised the old fashioned way, on fresh green pasture wholesome grain and plenty of sunshine.
The chickens are fed an all natural grain that makes up 70% of
their daily caloric intake. The other 30% consists of the grass out on pasture.
Is Pastured Poultry Healthy?
Pastured poultry is raised outdoors with no more than 250 chickens in a 25 X 58 pasture net. Therefore, they get plenty of grass and sunlight, which increases health benefits for you.
Pastured poultry contains extra vitamins, natural trace minerals, and omega-3 fatty acid. All of this is due to their intake of grass and exposure to sunlight.
Pastured Poultry adjust to the grass and outdoors well and are not lethargic, as with most poultry. This gives a leaner meat that still tastes delicious!
